We were lucky enough to meet Kim at an open house in the Sunset. We were in the process of working with the SF Mayor’s Office of Housing to apply for the downpayment assistance program (DALP). We won the lottery, so it was time to hit the ground running. We were determined to stay in the Sunset District, and Kim was the perfect person to help us achieve that goal. She has a deep understanding of the area and the housing market.
COMPASS has an app where Kim and I could share houses that fit our requirements. Similar to Pinterest, it allowed her and I to discuss the finer points of the houses at our convenience. It really made the searching process that much easier.
Along the way, she became very familiar with the Mayor’s Office of Housing guidelines on DALP approved housing and the nuances that go along with the program. We were fortunate to find a house that fit all of our needs, within 5 days of receiving the letter of approval from the Mayor’s Office.
Kim was instrumental in assisting us with finding the right bank to provide us a mortgage, encouraging us to stay positive during a very long close, and being there for us through all the bumps in the road. We were pleased to work with her. We are very happy in our home.
We helped our buyer clients purchase this great 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Our clients had won the DALP lottery (downpayment assistance loan program) from the mayor’s office of housing. We had given our clients access to the Compass App months before the lottery took place, they were able to watch the market and become very familiar with where homes were closing by the time the lottery took place. Once they had won the lottery we were all ready to go and hit the ground running. They had 60 days to find a home to purchase, we were in contract on day 5! See the review – we are pleased that they are so happy in their new home!
