Mission Bay is home to the new UCSF research campus, which has stimulated rapid growth in this emerging affluent neighborhood of high-end condominiums, upscale restaurants and bio-tech research facilities. Nearby, Potrero Hill adds additional color to the dining and entertainment opportunities. Established in 1998 as a redevelopment area, Mission Bay is truly becoming a destination neighborhood.
